This document will be henceforth know as the "PowerIRC Network Operator Policies and Procedures". All Network Operators are required to abide by these rules and any operator is found to be in violation of these polices then a punishment shall be handed down from the "PowerIRC Oper Council".

PowerIRC Oper Council

When a matter needs to be voted upon it shall be brought before the PowerIRC OP Council. This council is comprised of two staff members (operator or higher) from each server. These meetings will be held on the TeamSpeak server in the "Oper Council" room.

Absentee Policy

If an Oper on the council is to be absent, the other delegate from the same server may choose one of two options:

  • Bring the discussions to the missing Oper later, and provide the council with the missing Oper's votes

OR

  • If the missing delegate has given written permission to the remaining delegate, the remaining delegate may choose to cast a vote for the missing delegate

Note: In order for a council meeting to occur, there must be at least four (4) members of the council present, and every server must have at least one delegate present.

Oper Counts

There may be a maximum of only four Opers per server. There must be exactly: one NetAdmin, one Admin, one CoAdmin, and one Local Operator. So for example, if there are three servers linked to the network, there may only be 12 Opers in total, that works out at 4 per linked server.**

IMPORTANT: If an IRC server is found to not be in compliance of these guidelines after they have been linked for 10 days, that server's O:Lines WILL be purged until such a time as they comply with the above guidelines.

All Opers are only able to /oper on their assigned server.
